Introducing our Movement Intervention PDF Program - the bridge between children's current motor skill development and the mainstream physical education curriculum.

 

The Movement Intervention Program (MIP) was created to address the pressing issues surrounding children's learning, motor skill development, focus, coordination, and self-regulation.

 

The program has been developed by Robyn Papworth, a pediatric Exercise Physiologist and a Development Educator with a Master's qualification, as a bridge between children's current developmental challenges and the mainstream physical education (PE) curriculum.

 

Robyn's extensive background in child development and physical education provided the necessary knowledge and expertise to design a comprehensive intervention program.

 

The prevalence of screen time and sedentary activities has led to delays in children's fundamental motor skills, concentration, problem-solving, and self-regulation.

 

MIP acknowledges these challenges and aims to provide a solution.

 

 

 

 

MIP offers a six-level curriculum that tackles a range of issues related to self-regulation, focus, sensory perception, and physical development. This multi-level approach ensures that children progress through a structured program that caters to their developmental needs.

 

MIP acts as a bridge between traditional Physical Education (PE) programs and the changing needs of today's students. With a focus on fundamental motor skills, reflexes, core strength, visual tracking, spatial awareness, balance, and fine motor skill development, MIP helps students build a strong foundation before engaging in mainstream PE activities.

 

The program offers flexibility through a downloadable pdf library from Level 1 to Level 6, complete with activity cards that can be printed easily. This approach allows educators, teachers, and families to access and implement the program conveniently.
