Discover simple and engaging play activities, to improve children's gross motor and fine motor development.

Even if you have limited time, space, and resources, you will still gain great ideas and information from these books.

As a child development therapist who visits kindergartens and primary schools Australia wide, I see many children struggling with their gross motor and fine motor skills, and I love igniting children's confidence and coordination through movement and play.

My role in early learning has become more involved in the past 6 years, as children are spending more time using technology, and there are less safe places to play outside for children.

Kindergarten teachers are feeling more worried about how to best support children who are finding it difficult to climb, jump, put on their velcro shoes, and hold a pencil. Parents are feeling confused about what developmental milestones their children should be achieving by the time they start school, because the information coming from maternal health nurses can sometimes be different depending on the day, and the centre.

I created these two books because I want to help families and educators feel empowered with easy to read motor development information. I also feel excited to share engaging and fun play activities with families and educators, because I know the feeling of time pressure, and high expectations. So my play activities aim to be easily implemented indoors and outdoors, in small spaces, with minimal equipment.

As a mum of 7 year old twins, and a 3 year old, I know what it feels like to be pushed for time, feeling stressed about their development, and I often feel guilty about not having the energy to play with them all day every day.

Writing my new books has reminded me about the importance of starting small, playing for just 2 minutes per day, to rebuild the connection and fun between me and my children.

From an early learning, work perspective, my latest books reignited my passion for setting up easy play spaces that will engage children who have limited gross motor and fine motor skills.

This child development book bundle includes by 125 play activities book, as well as my theory based child development from 6 weeks to 6 years book.
